Q & A

How long will my appointment take?

Your first acupuncture appointment will be 1 hour and 15 minutes. Before you come for your appointment, please fill out all paperwork on our online Optimantra system. If you did not receive links to the paperwork, let our receptionist know and they can send them to your email. Every appointment after the first one will be 1 hour.  Labor stimulation treatments are 1 and 1/2 hours to 2 hours. Family treatments for 2-3 members are 1 hour and 15 minutes (Family treatments are available for returning clients only). Cupping only treatments are 30 minutes. Reiki treatments are either 30 minutes, or 1 hour. Massage or assisted stretching appointments are 30 minutes to 1 and 1/2 hours depending on the appointment.

Your first chiropractic treatment will be 45 minutes. It includes the first adjustment. After your first appointment, your follow-up adjustments will be 15 minutes. You can add cold-laser therapy or k-taping to your chiropractic adjustment at any time.

How should I dress for my appointment?

Wear comfortable and loose clothing, with easy access to arms below the elbows, and legs below the knees.

Do you take insurance?

We do accept veterans through the Veteran’s Choice program. In order to enter the program you must be a veteran and get a referral for acupuncture from your primary care physician first. They will then send us the referral and you will be contacted to make an appointment. We cannot request treatments for you without a referral from your primary care physician.

ATTENTION: Stephanie Salinas is now in network, and is accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield and Cigna insurance, for acupuncture treatment. DO NOT SCHEDULE ONLINE. All insurance will need to be verified before scheduling an appointment. Call the office at 719-434-8093. We will be happy to help.
