At Generations Acupuncture each treatment is customized to meet the client’s individual needs, providing quality treatment to every health condition. Dr. Karen is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) who is a Fellow of the Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine (ABORM). We have additional Licensed Acupuncturists on staff who can provide shorter high quality treatments in network with multiple insurance companies. With over 15 years of experience we offer multiple services to support your natural health needs.
Services
Services offered include acupuncture, cupping, cold laser, microneedling, cosmetic acupuncture, acupuncture injection therapy and Chinese herbal medicine. Research has shown this treatment is helpful for conditions such as fertility problems, health in pregnancy, all types of pain, headaches/migraines, digestive issues, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, asthma, allergies, autoimmune conditions, and maintaining health and wellness.
Our goal is to help our clients improve health, fertility, reduce pain and inflammation in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We do this through individual and custom treatments using mixed modalities to create the best best health plan for your needs.
We are veteran and woman owned and proudly serve our veteran community through the Community Care Network. We accept private insurance providers including Anthem/Blue Cross, Select Health and Cigna for treatment of pain conditions.
Dr. Karen Moreland is a DACM (Doctor of Chinese Medicine) and is a fellow of the ABORM (Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine). To obtain this fellowship she took extra course work in using acupuncture and Chinese herbs to treat fertility and safely in pregnancy. She then had to take and pass a written exam. She maintains her fellowship with additional coursework every year. Dr. Karen is able to provide Chinese herbal treatment, treatment during pregnancy, acupuncture treatment during IVF, pediatric acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture, acupuncture injection therapy, and cold laser.
Onsite Chinese Herbal Pharmacy
Our Chinese herbal pharmacy has both factory made formulas in capsule, pill or tincture form, as well as granular herbs which can be customized by our onsite professional Chinese herbalist, Dr. Karen. Being able to create custom herbal formulas enables Dr. Karen to target and treat a larger variety of ailments specific to each patient. Some of the symptoms we are able to treat include conditions such as: cold/flu, cough, asthma, sinus congestion, allergies infertility, frequent miscarriage, menstrual problems, headaches, digestive problems, depression, ADHD, anxiety, insomnia, muscle tension, pain, improved healing, fibromyalgia, and MS.
